After Cassady and Methus arrived safely home from Peru, we were finally all together as a family! We were able to spend a few days together hanging out at the pool and bonding with Charis. So much fun!
Charis is adjusting and doing so well. At first she would not allow us to feed her with a spoon or fork but praise the Lord we are past that now. She is eating and actually enjoying it. :)
Sunday August 22 Charis went to church for the first time. Everyone at Lifepointe was so excited to see her. She stayed with me during the music at the beginning but then we went to nursery for the rest of the service. My thoughts of her staying quietly in my arms for the first few Sundays was only wishful thinking. She is a busy body, always moving and ready to play.
Charis has learned how to make a high pitch noise (otherwise known as screaming). She is very excited about this new found skill. I think she just likes hearing herself.
Playing the piano.
When Chris and I were in China we bought the kids shirts. The boys are wearing shirts the say "big brother" and Cassady's says "big sister". Of course Charis's is "little sister". I just had to get a picture of them all wearing them.
Obviously Charis does not want to take pictures right now. This would be her "spicy girl" attitude.
I love the updates! So fun to see your family all together! Charis is just too cute! We tried to take Kamdynn into church with us too and she was singing and dancing and WAY too loud and wiggly too!! Can't wait to get our girls together! Oh, and by the way Happy 1 month Gotcha Day! Can't believe how fast the time is flying!
