Charis's 2 year Birthday Party!!!
Happy Birthday Charis!!!
Charis puts the dog in the stroller upside down. Kamdynn being a good friend then fixes the problem. They are so funny together.
Charis and her friend Kamdynn are the same age. Our friends Kevin and Stephanie were in China with us. How sweet that the Lord brought our families together on our adoption trip. Our girls have started what I hope to be a lifetime friendship.

It looks like Chris and I are trying to blow the candles out too. She actually did it all by herself.

As you can tell we had a house full. We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends to celebrate with.
Opening presents and watching the video that Daddy made to show everyone of her first 9 months with us.
We decided to take up donations for Charis's orphanage this year as we celebrate her birthday. Our friends were very generous and we are so excited to be making this donation to the Chenzhou Orphanage.

Charis crawled up in her Daddy's lap and within literally 2 seconds she was asleep. Her friend Kamdynn found a place to close her eyes by the babydolls. I think both of these girls are completely worn out. Signs of good Party!
Birthday dinner and cupcakes
After eating Chinese food for dinner we brought out the cupcakes. Charis was so excited about blowing out more candles and eating the sprinkles on her cupcake. Her first birthday at home with us was so fun for the whole family!
She is excited and I think she is trying to figure out how to eat this yummy cupcake!
Charis begins the process of eating her cupcakes without using her hands.
Charis now resorts to using her hands but does not like her hands dirty - so here lies the problem. After this she was done with the cupcake.

After Birthday pancakes we let her open a few presents. She definitely gets excited about presents now!
The kitchen for her birthday was a hit!
