Resurrection Biscuits

Every year we have the tradition of making Resurrection biscuits. Basically you make a tomb (biscuit) and put Jesus (marshmellow) in the tomb and seal it up (melted butter and cinnamon sugar mixture) the night before Easter. The next morning you bake them and Surprise!! Jesus has risen. It really doesn't matter how big you are, it is lots of fun and very yummy the next morning. This year was even more fun having Charis make these for her very first time.

Trip to Georgia in April

Braden and Charis watching TV together. The Peacock boys loved Charis and were so sweet to her. I don't have a picture of John Michael with her on my camera but he was just as sweet to her.

Charis playing in her room and just being cute

Charis is really concentrating - see the tongue sticking out! Figuring out these blocks is hard work.

Is this not the sweetest face!!

Charis with the blanket that her Aunt Bettye, from Alabama, made her. She is "loving" the blankie.

Charis's First Haircut

My first trip to Acacia Hair Salon. I think I want a cute little bob cut today. :)

Our friend Rachel Mark gave Charis her first haircut. She didn't cry but was very solemn throughout the whole thing. I tried to entertain her with books and the blow dryer. It worked and she looks adorable with her new do!

Charis is not quite sure what to think of this haircut.
